As we posted here last October, the University of Maryland has started a desperate campaign against racism which so far has included a sit in, demands for diversity training for Greek fraternities as well as the demand to create a review board to investigate suspected racism. The campaign was to combat “racist incidents” on campus, but the problem is that just about all of them up till now have been hoaxes. The latest one that had everyone in an uproar including the local news was a series of “racially charged writings” that were found on campus. As it turns out, an 18 year old black man named Terrell Demonte Alexander has been arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of malicious destruction of property and two misdemeanor counts of damage to property of certain classes of persons or groups. If found guilty, he can face as much as three years in jail and a fine of $5,000.
